It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She worked as a nervous Stylist and found it very stressful. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and further expansion of business
