His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Eberdeb was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
