History: Born in the north to a Hunter, Silent learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 27. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born in the south. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
