History: She comes from a rich western family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
