History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Flask was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He has worked as a Carpenter like his father before him.

She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Beggar mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
