He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His childhood dream was to be a Miner, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fletcher and was forced into it by his family.

History: Eloise was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
