History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Through the years after Marigold was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Marigold's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Marbas took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
