History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Eida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
