Harvest liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Through the years after Riardon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Riardon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
