History: Born in the north to a Navigator, Valorean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she's looking for her big break
