History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Ugarth was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ugarth's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gorbundus hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
