History: Born in the south to a Beggar, Nalaed learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Herleva was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Farmer and was forced into it by her family; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
