He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sapply was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Therlin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Gardener. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
