History: Râsh hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a club on his belt. His chestnut hair is still thick. He has black eyes.

Personality: Chem hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This man stands a little under 3'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple white robe with black stripes complete with hood. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is greedy; and to prove her worth to the world
