Personality: Gilbert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Eleanor hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by drow. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and regain custody of his son

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
