History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Lucan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Elizabeth was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and wishes to resurrect an old love
