Through the years after Gardain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gardain's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Mortician, his father struggled to pay the bills. Rathkran was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Hunter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Ownka was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and to be a stableman again
