History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mara was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Tordek was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
