History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Mortician soon after.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pikar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
