History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shautha was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Shautha was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Baker. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Stylist mother left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born in the east to a Jeweler, Veloptima learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Sellsword, but she was a colossal failure. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sellsword. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
