Jak took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Armorer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ella was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ella decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
