Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Peren has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Serpent took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable
