Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Havilar was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Havilar was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Havilar's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She has styled her dark red hair well, parting it to the right. Her white eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Shax and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. After a long history of fighting, Bilbron and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often
