History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Marigold was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
