She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Born to a Apothecary, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She tends to her Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
