History: Sarai was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She struck the Bookbinder job and began her own company from there.
