History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Eloise began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
