History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Quick and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'8" when asserting herself. She has dyed her greying cinnamon fur a little too much giving a sharp cinnamon color. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Emerald will drive conversation. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emerald is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
