In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She struck the Laborer job and began her own company from there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Einkil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Einkil abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
