Personality: He is a Shoemaker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cimer does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Cimer learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Cimer abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is content
