History: Born to a Map Maker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jacoba is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
