This search led her directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Katherine speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Katherine is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Herbalist, her mother struggled to pay the bills. At some point she was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Mumpena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
