History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Herbalist like his father before him.

History: She was born into a rich family. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.
