History: Arannis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A freak accident while working with her Mercenary mother left her crippled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
