History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Whurbin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Hupe's homeland. Hupe decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult.
