She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Laborer for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Malquis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Malquis grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After months of barely getting by, Cory managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
