History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
