History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Katherine has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
