History: He was born in the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
