History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Makaria was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
