History: He was born into a rich family. Olunt was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Olunt decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Alain was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Alain never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kite grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
