History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Tailor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pikar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded.
