History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Keyleth was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Keyleth's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
