Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. Raer is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a worn and beaten armor. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the north to a Brewer, Naeris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears skinny pants and wears a red and blue robe with the hood down. His hair is red and very short. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to raise his children well

Description: She dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with white slacks. She carries with her a set of crossbows, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Pennie's homeland. Pennie decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
