Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Dagger is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Dagger was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Dagger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mortician profession.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Mortician, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mason born in the past three hundred years. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and to settle down with his crush

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
