Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She became a Layabout soon after.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.
