History: Howard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gorbundus was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Gorbundus and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
