Philomena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Aelar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aelar was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Assassin. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
