Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rurik's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
