On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Maiathah will drive conversation. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now mingles about in high society.
